Senior Quality Assurance Technician

Job Summary

This position provides senior experience and ability to perform all Quality dimensional, Functional test and Visual Inspection activities within a manufacturing QA Laboratory. To ensure all products meets customer design specifications and in compliance to ISO-13485 quality requirements.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts all inspections and testing for pre-production FAI’s, Patrol Inspection, and Final inspection.
  • Assists with the development and writing of quality procedures in compliance to ISO13485 standards.
  • Prepare and Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with processing CAR’s and Non-Conformance reports
  • Assist with product packaging and labeling
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
 

Required Experience/Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preference to certifications in precision inspection and other related disciplines. College degree preferred, however not required.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, (Global Shop preferred)
  • Possess mathematical skills for geometric tolerance dimensions, & interpret complex part drawings.
  • Proficient on all precision measurement instrument devices including, but not limited to; calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, ring gauges, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, vision and probe , CMM measuring systems, such as Micro Vu .
  • Minimum five years’ experience in quality focused precision manufacturing industry of high volume parts.
  • Able to perform Advanced GD&T and blueprint reading.
